Diesel Mechanics

The BGCD Diesel Mechanic program is a comprehensive training program that combines classroom instruction with hands-on training at our designated practice spot. This program prepares students for both written quizzes and practical exams required to receive diesel mechanic certification. After obtaining their certification, students will be qualified for entry-level diesel mechanic employment.

 

Classes for the BGCD Diesel Mechanic Training program start every two months and are offered on weekdays and evenings. The program can be completed in as few as 8 weeks. During the training, you will learn everything about emissions and the latest technology in diesel mechanics. The classes will also cover engine management, allowing you to diagnose and repair engine problems in a timely manner. The program provides hands-on training, giving you the necessary tools to enter the workforce as a skilled diesel mechanic.

 

In addition to engines, the program covers brakes, suspension, hydraulics, maintenance, and repairs. The tuition fee is affordable, and scholarship assistance is available to those who qualify. BGCD will guide you on how to prepare for the diesel mechanic certification test. The program also includes assistance with job placements, including job search, employment opportunities, completing job applications, networking, and employer referrals.
